Our final decision

Even though Dress C is the most expensive dress, we have chosen it because it is comfortable and makes Yvette look sweet. It is beige in colour and will make Yvette look outstanding in the midst of all the black dress wearers.

At the neckline, beads are embroidered in the form of flowers, and makes the dress very special looking. At the waistline is a centralised ribbon again, with repeated embroidered beads floral pattern. On the netting there are glittery sequins scattered far apart to make the dress look slighty shiny. The fabric used is linen and the dress is sleeveless so Yvette will not feel too warm in the dress.

The dress cost $69.90 and the shoes $29.90 and the total cost is $99.80. Thus, we have decided to use dress C as it succeeds in making Yvette look her best within the price limit as well as succeeding in making her look formal to suit the event. After all, doesn't one carry herself better when she is confident that she looks good?

Shopping

Today, Sharmaine and I went out shopping at Northpoint Shopping Centre. After about 2 to 3 hrs, we had managed to get three dresses. The objective of the shopping trip is to find a formal dress and we are looking for something nice and formal.

The task

Sharmaine and I have decicded on doing Task 1 (You have been invited to a friend's birthday party at a hotel. The setting is formal and you need to dress appropiately for the occasion. You only have a budget of $100.). The model for our project is me (Yvette). I am 141 cm tall, my complexion is fair and i like the colours pink and blue.
